I have just purchased a 30ft 2002 Allegro (Workhorse) and have replaced all three batteries. I have noticed that some dashlights stay on and for the life of me I can't find where/how to turn them off. If I don't check often chasis battery drains and so I have placed a trickle charger on it but would love to turn this lights off. If anyone knows how to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

Daffit, Try rolling the switch next to the headlamp switch.

Welcome to irv2 Daffit.
When you replaced your batteries did you take pictures or tag all leads to you batteries.
You may have one plus or negative lead on wrong post, maybe a small wire not heavy battery cable.

By dash lights, I assume you mean the lights by the various switches that indicate what the switches are for - not the center Actia speedometer/instrument cluster. The dash lights should go off when you turn off the headlights/parking lights. If not, there may be a short somewhere causing them to stay on (especially if it's just some of the lights), or the previous owner may have changed the wiring. You could try the roller switch as mfire1339 suggests, but you would be better off trying to find the real reason they are staying on. In the meantime, you could pull the fuse when you are parked so the battery doesn't run down.

Yes paz I am talking about the lights for the switches such as fans, map lights etc. Have tried to roll switch buthas no effect on these lights. Fuse is good idea thanks. Will look at wiring.
