2005 Allegro 32ba with GM 8.1 & Allison transmission

Our rig is in the shop with a "rusted out" transmission cooler.
They haven't been able to find a part number. Any ideas?

Tiffin doesn't stock chassis parts, and Workhorse is defunct. Therefore, your best bet is to see what is used on the GM heavy duty pickups like jeepfreak says. Most of the engine/transmission parts are the same as on the pickups.

If the GM pickup cooler won't fit, aftermarket transmission coolers are not hard to come by. I had one installed on an old blazer once by U-Haul. Put in the biggest one that will fit.

Well, ( I said I'd keep you posted )
Looks like we'll be keeping our 05 Allegro 32BA for a looooong time. I talked to the workhorseparts.com. person after I picked myself up off the floor. The transmission cooler is part of a huge assembly. Can't even remember all the parts. transmission oil cooler, oil cooler, ac condenser fan(?) Crap I don't know. I'd say it will be almost 10% of the value of the RV.
Might as well bite the bullet and do the suspension too.
