When we purchased our new to us 2005 Phaeton 40QDH, it appeared to have every piece of paper since new, but "upon further review", I don't see the basic owners manual from Tiffin. This being our first MH, I assume there was one? I have noticed on the Tiffin website that you can pull pdf's of manuals back to 2007.

Any alternate source of older manuals that anyone knows of?

You might try calling Tiffin at (256) 356-0261.

We got a binder from Tiffin with our 2005 Allegro Bay, so your Phaeton should have had one, too. There was also a book from GM on the engine and one from Allison on the transmission. Contact Tiffin to see if they can supply the info. Have your chassis VIN handy when you call.

Our new to us 2003 Tiffin Bus had some manuals. I do most of my own maintenance and found that some spots had not been greased in a while. I changed the transmission oil and filters, engine oil and filter and generator oil and filter. I also found that the diesel fuel filters for the generator were original and had never been changed. The fuel lines to the generator had started to crack, I replaced them and have been keeping a log book of maintenance and part numbers for all filters, belts and other items that have taken me some time to look up.

As suggested, I did call Tiffin and was totally impressed to be told my manual was not available online, but they would be happy to send me a paper copy, no charge, "and we are happy you are a Tiffin owner."
My first interaction with the company, and perhaps i can now better understand all the posts I have read regarding Tiffin's excellent customer service!

And if you ever want to talk to Bob Tiffin directly, just ask for extension 2206. If Bob is available, he WILL answer the phone.
