2006 Allegro Ceiling TV Mount Options

We're picking up our new (to us) Allegro 28DA tomorrow. What are our options for ceiling tv mounts that might work in the bedroom? I'm not familiar with the construction and I don't want to overload the construction. Ideally this would be a drop-down type for a 30-40" TV. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks!

We installed a 26inch Vizio just outside the old TV box. It fits between the over dresser cabinet and over closet cabinet. It is on a swingout arm mounted to the side of the old TV box/cabinet. Velcro and bungee cords hold it in place while in motion. Front TV, 32inch visio is mounted similiar. Plenty of storage space behind both.
A 32 or larger in the bedroom would block access to one or the other cabinets, but not both at the same time as it could be moved sideways. Smoked plexiglass hides the openning along the bottoms.

Google "slide-out and flip down ceiling tv mount"
Or copy and paste;

As for mounting it... goodluck.

Thanks Rocky. Yes, the small TV opening "way over there" was the reason we want a ceiling mount, and probably near the center-line. Unfortunately my eyes need bigger displays these days.

When I wrote my original question I was allowing black friday sales to rush me toward a tv purchase. I'd been searching without luck for Allegro-specific ceiling installs, but better to wait until I can plan it out before forcing a "good deal" to fit. We don't need extra TVs.

They aren't sales or good deals, they are jacked up prices a few weeks before and then lowered by a hundred or so to make you think it's an amazing price.
We just got a sweet LG 40 inch that does more cool stuff than I am even aware of like "sense" my computer in the room and play a movie cordless for only $299. One month ago. If there was a 40 inch for any less than that on black friday or green thursday or what ever it is called when they open thursday night, I would eat my shoe.
I am going to figure out how to mount behind the passenger front seat from a wide and deep cabinet that is good solid wood.

The voice of reason.

You're right; glad I snapped out of it.
