2006 Tiffin Allegro 32 BA 12VDC Electrical

Good Morning!

I have a 2006 Tiffin Allegro 32 BA 12VDC problem.

Last time we were camping, as we were getting ready to pack up and hit the road, I noticed all the 12VDC lighting was very dim, as if it was draining the battery, even though we were connected to 50A service at the campground. All of the 120VAC outlets and appliances were working correctly.

Since we were packing up anyway, I decided to disconnect from shore power and started up both the engine and the 7000 watt generator. Everything then worked perfectly.

I am an electrician/electronics technician so I did some thinking and figured that the most likely issue is the 120VAC-12VDC Converter went bad, or the fuses for it went bad.

Does anyone know where I can find a repair manual/electrical schematics for the 2006 Allegro? I thought I saw on the forum when I first joined a place where there were a bunch of manuals but now I can't seem to find it. I have the original owner's manual and some electrical schematics that the first owner passed down to me, but the schematics are so faded they are almost impossible to read.

Also, anyone else fix this issue themselves? I would love to hear your stories!

Thanks for the help guys n gals!

Can't help you with the drawings but I think you are probably correct about the converter. Tiffin normally groups things close by major pieces. Your electrical connections/fuses should be close to the converter location.

Thanks. Got the RV back to my place so I wouldn't have to do the work on the yard. Output of the converter is 13.6 VDC as expected, fuses are fine. Not sure what the problem could be then, but I think that the output leads were shorted. Got them nicely inserted and taped up, charging the batteries now, hopefully everything works nicely after I get a good charge =) I appreciate your response =)

If anyone can think of anything else that it could be I welcome the inputs
