2008 Bus QRP vs 2013 Open Road 36 LA

We currently have a Southwind 32V 2007 and have been looking to upgrade to a used DP mainly for more room, more bottom storage and more power. We found the bus online at a local dealer and liked the floor plan so we went Friday to look at it. When we arrived, the salesman we had talked to was busy so we just walked around and looked at every new and used MH on the lot. My wife fell in love with the Allegro Open Road 36 LA , I was surprised because she generally can find the most expensive item without trying. I had my heart set on a diesel for my next one but I have to admit that I was impressed with the LA. The 5 year old Bus is about $40,000 more than the new 36LA and I am very confused. Any thoughts from owners? Advice?

The one deciding factor would be the difference in size of the fuel tank. You can go a LOT further in the Bus than you can the gasser on one tank of fuel without having to stop and fill up. DH loves the 150 gallon fuel tank. Also, the quality of the interior is much better in the Bus. We love our 40QSP. Good luck in ur decision.

If your wife loves the 36LA, then you had better be forgetting about the AB. You can find more 36LA owners (and bus owners as well) at tiffinrvnetwork.com if you have more questions.
