I was looking at the 2008 and later Allegro 32BA & #32CA and I noticed how little outside storage they had. My 28 ft Winnebago Sightseer has 80 Cubic feet and the 32 BA & CA Allegroa only have 67 cubic feet. Then I went on Tiffins web site and looked at the 2012 32CA and it showed 138 cubic feet of outside storage. Got me wondering was there a typo some where I just could not see how the same 32CA model went from 67 to 138 cubic feet of outside storage. So today I went to the local Tiffin dealer to see if I could see why the differance. What I found out was on the 2011 & earlier models the storage bays on the living room slides were part of the slide. In 2012 they left the bays on the body. Now the bays have pass thru storage. and the listed storage has more than doubled.
Anyone that has the 32 ft Allegro let me know what you like & dislike about the model.
Mike

Hi Mike;

I have an 04 Allegro 32BA. Through the nearly 8 years that we have owned it, I have not had any problem with the amount of basement storage. In fact, it is easy to put too much stuff in the compartments. Insofar as the compartments on the drivers side living room slide area, yes they are part of the slide out itself. To me, this is both good and bad. Good, because I can easily reach and access the compartments when the slide is extended. Bad, because the compartments are not very large and don't hold larger items. Also, because they are part of the slide itself, one must not put too much weight in them. Another good thing about the compartments is that they are lined with plastic and there is no "wet bay" rotting of the wood problems that many Tiffin rigs have experienced. I use the slide out compartments to store all my set-up equipment; water hoses, sewer hoses, jack supports, wooden boards, etc. Anything that can get wet or dirty.

Good luck in your search.
