On our Phaeton the lightbar control unit, or the information display area on the dash is on the bottom and can't be see while driving.

I am trying to decide if its resonable to request that the dealer relocate it under the back up camera monitor at their expense or if I just take care of it myself.

Anyone else have an issue with the obstructed view of this?

Thank you!

Have you tried tilting or extending the steering wheel differently so that you can see it?

Yes, with the wheel at max tilt the view is still obstructed.

It can not be seen no mater where you put the wheel for driving. I do not look at it except if I get a warning horn which I have not had yet. I do not know if the wires are long enough to move it.
