2012 Phaeton QTH fuel leak

Our Phaeton has access for fueling on both sides. Fuel leaks from the area of the cap on the passenger side whenever the coach is fueled from the driver's side. I pump fuel until the pump shuts off automatically. This has been an issue ever since we reaceived the coach in September. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so are there any suggestions for a cure ?

Could be a bad cap, a loose clamp on the fuel fill line (there's at least 4 on each side on our Freightliner chassis) or a problem with the tank vent system. A trip back to your dealer or Red Bay would be the best choice as you're still under warranty.

It is also known that on some units the upper flange (the part the cap attaches to) is not fully sealed to the tube. Tiffin is aware and will ship new filler tube as a fix.
