We're ready to purchase a 2012 Tiffin 32 CA gas RV. Based on MSRP of $123,620 what would be a fair price to offer? Many have told us to expect 30% off the MSRP which we've found makes the sales people blanch! Appreciate any advice from those who have been at this awhile!

We bought our 32LA in Feb. 08 about a month before the bottom fell out. We got 20% off but if we had waited probably 6 months we probably could have gotten 30%. I would guess with the market now 20-25% would be about right. If you were looking at a pusher, maybe a bus, 30% might get it done. Just a guess. Ours is a Ford and we really like it. Good luck.

I don't think you will get 30% off that model. Or most any Tiffin, which remain in high demand across the country. Somewhere around 20 might be possible at a larger dealer, but most smaller dealers won't even go that deep. Try an offer around 25% and see where it goes. You can always increase it later if you want.

people get 20 to 25%, but why settle for only 20%? I know dealers work hard for a living, but so do you.

Hello Can you tell me how much you ended getting off the MSRP and from what dealer you ordered from.
I am looking at the same model but without much of the options.

I can't speak to a 32CA but I have been looking at new 34TGA's. I have a trade so the difference price is what matters and is not to relevant for a purchase without a trade. I just spoke to a salesman from Lazydays who is working at the Florida RV Supershow. They offered a $31,000.00 34TGA for $111,500.00: no trade involved. This is about 15 % off list and they would not go lower even though the rig is at the show and LD is a very large volume dealer. Food for thought! Like Gary said, Tiffins are in demand.

Of course the salesman will act like you just stabbed him in the heart. They are pretty good actors. He'll get over it if he wants to sell a coach.

We ended up getting 21% off the MSRP. We were told by other RV folks that a 30% discount is usually seen with the diesel models, not gas. We did add quite a few extras (leather, heat pump, etc) but all in all are pleased with our purchase. Not as pleased with our trade-in offer on our class C 2010 Four Winds. Trying to sell it before we get the new rig.
We placed our order with Myers RV in Albuquerque when we couldn't find what we wanted in NM or AZ.
