I'm looking to buy a used 2015 Phaeton which as 9,000 miles on it with no warranty. The dealer is asking 249,000.00 what would be a could price to offer? Thanks

NO warranty, really, I would negotiate a warranty into it.

You can buy a new 2016 for MSRP minus 28% at many dealers. I would want at least 10% off that price for a 1 year old model with 9000 miles, but you probably won't get it. Phaetons and Allegro Busses are in high demand, and will sell quickly. 2016s are available now.

It's the model with the bunks, not really what we wanted but can use as a closet.

As an aside, those bunks offer an incredible amount of in-coach storage. Our Red has them. I agree with TurtleKent's valuation.

The model you are referring to is a 40QKH. There are a few Tiffin dealers in the south that would sell you a loaded 2016 for about 230K on a straight deal. http://www.rvtechmag.com/pricing/201...tonPricing.pdf

Your freightliner chassis would have a continuing transferable warranty.

A 2015 with no warranty? I would think you still may have Tiffin's warranty on it. Tiffin has a one year from date of purchase (you would have to find out when the previous owner bought it) warranty on their coaches. You can call Tiffin if the dealer won't/can't tell you to check on that. Tiffin is also extremely good about fixing issues after their warranty expires. Many of the appliances have warranties that still should be in effect.
