Can anyone tell me if the bed platform on a 2015 Phaeton 40 AH is the same size between king and queen? I need a King is it just a mattress swap?

I would measure your platform width between the raised side area keepers . A RV Queen is usually 60 x 80 and a RV King is 72 x 80.

The bed platform is definitely not the same size on a queen as a king. We had a king in our Allegro RED and swapped it out for a queen to get more room. I had to cut the platform down in size to work with the queen. When we traded it in, I put the two piece king bed back and it just overhung the edges. In addition, the side vanity shelves will be wider on a queen installation so a king might not fit between them.
