2015 Phaeton Black Tank flush valve not working

Hello, My Black tank flush will not allow any water to enter black tank for flushing after dumping. Any Ideas. Thanks in advance. Dennis Mattson

Are you taking water directly from the campsite hose spigot and connecting the hose or the correct to the female hose connection?

My Phaeton is 7 years older than yours, and many things have changed, but here are a couple of suggestions that might help.

Look under the sink in your bathroom and see if you have a back flow preventer that looks like the attached pics. If so the plunger may not be rising to allow water to pass to the flush head.

Phaeton's seem to have a problem with the spray nozzle in the black tanks clogging up. You can try to loosen/soften whatever is clogging the holes in the nozzles by filling the tank up and letting it sit overnight or you can remove the nozzle and drill the holes out.

On the Tiffin RV Network there are instructions on how to access the nozzle and what size bit to use to enlarge the holes.

Second suggestion is to check the black tank spray head as it can get clogged with debris, however it's not a fun project. Again if your coach is anything like mine it will be on the PS of the coach. You will need to remove it from the tank and see if it's clogged. Whether it is or isn't, while you have it out it's a good idea to drill the spray head holes to 3/32".

Ours is on the driver's side with the vacuum break located under the vanity. I opened up the panel 2 years ago, cleaned and enlarged spray nozzle holes, no problems since.

It should be covered under warranty since your coach is a 2015 model.

That depends on his in service date. For example my one year warranty on my 2009 coach expired in September 2009 because my in service date was September 2008.

However Tiffin is very good about authorizing some repairs beyond their one year warranty period.

Good Morning and thanks for the help. My question. Is the spray valve at the top of the tank? I filled the tank, used an enzyme type solution, let sit for an hour and now its better, not 100 percent but better.

Yes the spray head is located at the top of the tank opposite of the drain valve so it washes everything toward the drain. What you did obviously helped, and it would be even better if you could drill out the spray head holes as I previously mentioned.
