No, I have not seen a problem that I can tell. Of course, my RV stays plugged into to a 50 amp all the time when I am not on the road. Plus, I have only had my RV for two months, so I don't know if I have the problem.
It is easy to access and do. The verbiage in the letter could have been more specific as a recall instead of just saying that if your RV has trouble charging the chassis batteries when they are low with the engine running, then you might need this harness installed.
Now, if this is a harness that everyone is supposed to have, and if not installed, then have it installed would seem more rational.
