2018 Phaeton 40AH Floor

I am a little disappointed. My floor in the rear wardrobe area which is tiled and started to crack in couple grout lines and is feeling spongey. It is as if the flooring blow the tile is thin and flexing.

Sounds like a call to Tiffin is in order. I'm trying to think if there is a way to check what type of flooring is under the tile. Unfortunately its not like a house where you could pull a floor register and see whats below. There has to be a standard Tiffin uses and not sure why they would deviate with your coach. On ours we have a washer dryer in the rear. Do you have the same, any chance there is a water problem?

Sure hope you are able to get this resolved.

My washer dryer are on the passenger side in the back as well. No water leaks. Just a sponges feel

Obviously the grout shouldn't crack so that means there is movement somewhere. With it being an 18 it's surely under warranty but still stinks that it's happened. I hope it's a quick fix.

Luckily, it is still under warranty. My local dealer cannot take it in until January so I called Tiffin and they extended my warranty to cover the floor repair. Pretty good of them.

Does anyone know how to access the engine from the wardrobe closet? It has a tiled cover but can't tell how to open it. Nothing in my owners manual covering it either.
