2018 Phaeton 40QBH water bay heat
Does anyone know if the 2018 Phaeton wet bay has its own thermostat?

I think it would help if you posted more info about how your coach is equipped. All electric? Aqua Hot? LPG?

Mine’s a 2017 Phaeton 40QBH and it does. Right inside the wet-bay, on the wall towards the front, there’s a thermocouple and a little black dial for the temperature. I think the default dialed setting is 42F. Heat comes from the rear heat-exchanger. May also come from the Aqua-Hot but someone else should chime in on that.

Your wet bay is heated by the rear propane furnace.

I have the LP version. I can't find any adjustable thermostat in the wet bay. The only temp control I can find is through the spider system. My 2015 Bus had a thermostat in the wet bay.

Your bus had AquaHot and a wetbay thermostat, your Phaeton does not have Aquahot and therefore no thermostat. In freezing weather, make sure you run the rear propane furnace in the coach.

2018 Phaeton 40QBH water bay heat
Or another option is to add a small ceramic heater on low setting (as we have) in the water bay. Been down to low single digits with no problem. If not going that cold a light bulb puts out enough heat in that small compartment to supplement the cold.

If you notice on your Spyder Panel on the temperature panel you will see a temperature reading for the Bay Temp. In the bay, and should be mounted on the aft wall (towards rear of coach) is a temp sensor. It looks just like the ones inside the coach that measures the bay temperature. The bay receives heat from the rear furnace. If you have the heated floors which I have, the floor heat will actually keep the bay warm as well. Yes, I have floor heat and NO aqua hot system. It is the way I ordered it from Tiffin in 2017. Hope that helps
