2019 Allegro Bus

Can anyone out there with a 2019 Allegro Bus tell me how the ride is on the powerglide chassis?

I don't have a Bus, but our 40IH Phaeton is on the same chassis and the ride is outstanding. It is much smoother and more stable in the wind than our Freightliner chassis was on a similar sized coach and very comfortable to drive. The independent front suspension makes a huge difference as well giving it a very tight turning radius.

Love the ride. Like night and day from our Phaeton.

Smooth riding and two finger control on the steering wheel. Much nicer than our former freightliner chassis was.

My Bus is a 2016, but for me the ride is a big step up from the 2012 RED on a Freightliner chassis that I traded in. The name says it all: Power and Glide.

Don't think you'll find many bad reviews of the Powerglide chassis. When I was in Red Bay I spent a fair amount of time in the chassis plant. I was empressed with every aspect of the chassis, from the way they do their wiring to their airbag valves. They put every Powerglide chassis on their in house dyno. Very impressive.
All that said, Freightliner and Spartan make a fine chassis too. As long as you're comparing the same features and capacities I think they all serve people pretty well.

We have a 2011 Red and keep thinking about upgrading. Good to hear about her about the ride. We have been hesitant because we like to boondock out west and feel like the RED was less inclined to fail as the Bus has so many upgrades that need to be fixed. Bumpy dirt roads and motor shades, tile floor etc scare me.

We just got a 2019 45OPP. I drove it about 100 miles last weekend. The ride is very smooth and comfortable, and I found it to be easy to drive a bit faster than I anticipated. 70-74 with no towed felt great, but I may back that down for tire safety.
