2019 Tiffin Red 340 33LA

I just saw one of these online. I didn’t know they existed, is this one they just squeezed in. It was listed as 2019.

It is short with 340 on the Powerglide with 7500 hitch towing rating

Does anyone know more?

On paper it’s a Red 33aa but with a 340/2500 drive train, vinyl floor, similar AC design to other manufactures. The Red 340 wood cabinetry is similar but doors and walls don’t have some of the trim of the Red 33aa. The bathroom sink and counter tops are not as nice. Not sure if it has hydraulic leveling jacks. It comes with a Truma water heater but the 2020 Red 33aa has that water heater standard. Not sure about the payload yet. The slides are a different design.

Just read an article on this and it’s a more budget friendly Dp. Msrp was $240k compared to the Red which is around $280k. It has 3 slides and fewer options. I’m guessing it replaced the Breeze line. Looks nice and they’re selling quick off the lot.

We saw one at the Perry rally. Very nice unit. Think of it as a base model for the 33AA. Very similar layout with less bells, whistles and bling.

A good DP entry coach.

Go to the Tiffin Website and click on Owners; then click on Roughing It Smoothly; then click on Roughing It Smoothly Archive; then click on the May 2019 Issue. Bingo! Everything you wanted to know about the new Allegro Red 340 33AL
