Hi we are planning on purchasing a 2011 open road 35 ft QBA.Any comments on this unit.Thinking maybe we should wait a few more months for the 2012 model. Kind of want to get it done now. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.....Dave

Depends on what kind of deal they will give you to get it off the lot. Check out this site:

We've been looking around at new Tiffins, specifically the 34TGA. The 35 QBA is nearly the same unit with the exception of the bunk beds, bath layout and position of the bedroom TV. Same living room, kitchen, front end, chassis, weight rating, etc. I believe that now is the time to buy, rather than waiting for the 2012's, if you can get a good deal. I was quoted a 23 % discount on a TGA recently and I believe that we could have got 25 % if we haggled a bit. It was the value of the trade that doomed the deal. The TGA that I looked at was really nice.

Tiffin just recently had a redesign (exterior paint; interior decor) for 2011, so I'm not sure how much different a 2012 would be. I would definitely find that out, as well as what else will be different between the two model years, so you can really compare waiting vs. buying now.

Best of luck!

There may be an issue with stated CCC and actual. Join and read this forum regarding the 2011 35QBA. I've been researching the 35QBA also.

I read at the tiffenrvnetwork forum that the increase would be $2000 only on the Allegro Red.

We purchased a new 2010 35QBA FRED in March of 2010. One of the last Freds without the new emission controls. We love the unit and layout, but we also have a two year old and the bunk arrangement is perfect. We like the Tiffin product. Would consider another Tiffin unit when and if that occasion ever happened.

I visited a dealer this weekend. Wow, the 2011 35QBA is really nice. We are very much considering it as our first MH over the Winnebago/Itasca 35J. We saw a used 07 Sightseer 35J and it does not compare favorably to the 35QBA IMHO... the cargo doors, full paint and interior finishes. I still want to see a 2011 35J.
