35 QBA Front Desk

This thing was originally built for our SOB coach and the desk extended to the floor when folded. We had it cut down to be a PERFECT front desk for out 35QBA. I know the finish doesn't match, but sure is going to be nice to have an extra spot to eat and set up a nice laptop desk for surfing.

We never even tried to put it in because I just knew it wouldn't fit. Gladly I was wrong!

Can you still lock down your recliner? This is a great idea.

Yep, it still locks down but it has to face forward instead of sideways.

I think it would be well received if Tiffin added it from the factory. They could tweak it a bit, but as is it is still just about a perfect fit.

That really looks nice. Your 35QBA is always a work in progress.

We have nearly 30K on a 2013...yep, she keeps us busy.

I can't wait to see how the new Koni's do this weekend.

I am curious to see what you think also. Mine seems to ride good now but we are always looking for improvement. Our first trip this spring will be to Tunica with a side trip to tour Red Bay. Have you ever driven the Natchez Trace Pky?

Nope but we've been every where else... We've been to Texas 4 times from East TN, and have made the northern and southern routes to California.

Thanks I only asked because it looks like the shortest route to Red Bay.

Enjoy Tiffin at Redbay when you go...there is not much there otherwise.

I mounted it with four drywall type screws.

I liked this idea so much I had to make one of my own. This should definitely be an option from Tiffin. I made mine somewhat narrower at 3", and added an outlet with USB chargers, fed from the now-covered outlet. Thanks for the inspiration!

Looks good. Can you add picture with it open? It also appears that you used a brass piano hinge. What type of wood did you use?
