Well, I have found something in the MH that I do not know what is. It is in the first cabinet behind the passengers seat. On the front wall, beside the control for the slide. It has a display with what looks like a single digit in it. A button below the display that will try to change the digit. I have no clue what it does?? Does anyone have any help??

I have a manual crank up satellite dish. The item you describe sounds just like the digital read out for it's elevation sensor. Mine is 9 volt battery powered (behind the plate) but some are hard wired. If I press the button it will give me a LO read out until the dish is raised. Then the numbers appear telling me the elevation as I turn the crank. If your system does not use it maybe it is from the stock build for the coach.
Does it look anything like this?:

DIgital Magic

Thats it. I had no idea what that thing was. It is just as it is described in the link.
Thank you for the help. I have saved the link and now know where to go if I need to.
