Last weekend, Shelly and I took a ride to the Cleveland IX Center to attend the Ohio RV Supershow for the first time. While there, we made a point of checking out the 2009 Tiffin motorhomes on display to see the new offerings.

During our time spent near the Tiffin rigs, we had the opportunity to spend some time talking to Mr Bob Tiffin. Mr Tiffin regularly tries to attend as many of the RV shows as he can in order to speak with owners and prospective owners of the product his company produces. In spending time talking to him, it was obvious he takes personal pride in the product they produce and knows his coaches very well.

Bob and I talked about many subjects ranging from the new items and features going into rigs as well as the impact about the slowdown in the industry. Bob seemed genuinely intersted in learning about our likes and dislikes with our 2008 motorhome to see if some of the changes they implemented in 2009 would be positivly received. My 14 year old son later told me that when he had wondered into the same model Allegro Bus that we have, Bob started started talking to him about the motorhome to learn his thoughts of it as well to get yet another prospective.

He also discribed how Tiffins business has faced a signification slowdown, but the company is strong and they are continuing to build products. Certainly 2008 was a year of adapting to a changing business in the RV industry and it has been necessary to adjust to the new market both in terms of productino, and the actual product produced. We briefly discussed Tiffin's latest offering, the "RED", which is a smaller unit designed as a option for those looking for a more fuel efficient motorhome.

After speaking with Bob, I can honestly say I understand where the outgoing, friendly, down to earth, attitude comes from whenever I talk folks at the factory.

All the people at the factory speak very highly of Bob Tiffin. He is very well liked and respected.

We met him once at the Pittsburgh RV show before we bought our motorhome and he was very down to earth.

We have met Bob Tiffin on several occasions at RV shows. You can't ask for a greater person. The company is great too.
