The House batteries should be on (providing current) for all 12volt lights and refrig and thermosat. The main breaker should be on so the House batteries recieve a charge and you can run air cond, heatpump tv ect.

When you're plugged in to your 110vac service at home and leave your main breaker in the coach OFF, your inverter/converter will not charge your coach batteries. Also with your coach battery disconnect switch OFF but main breaker ON, your coach batteries may not receive charging voltage from your inverter/converter.

With some diesel coaches the inverter/converter may not charge your chassis(engine) battery.

The best way to check if both your engine & coach batteries are being charged when connected to your house service and all switches ON is to use a voltmeter and check the voltage at your battery terminals where should 13+ vdc reading if they're being charged.

We leave our gas coach plugged in at our home leaving both the breaker and battery switch on all the time. I do check the water level in the batteries every couple of weeks or so and add when needed.

Hope this helps, good luck
