access to rear furnace

I have a 2007 34 TGA. The rear furnace will click but will not come on. Don't know how to access the unit to check it out and or clean it. Suggestions are appreciated.

Whats around the area on the inside you might have to remove a drawer or panel to get to it

Can't you get to the furnace from the outside?

rmokricky,

Unless Tiffin has changed things, you should be able to access the furnace from either the outside or inside. If you see a rectangular cover outside your rig where the furnace intake/exhaust is located, you will be able to remove this cover to access the furnace from the outside. Start by removing the stainless steel plate that covers the intake/exhaust.

Both furnaces in our Allegro Bay sit below a drawer and can be accessed from the inside of the motorhome by removing the drawer. If yours is not under a drawer, you can get to the furnace by removing the louvered wooden air return. Gently pry out the wooden buttons that cover the screws that hold the air return in place and then remove the screws.

Atwood will have a cover with 4 screws and access on the inside - surburban will have the small cover with 2 holes and will access from the inside only

Thanks to all that responded. There is no access from the outside, just the exhaust vents. I will remove some drawers to see if I can access it from the inside.

Both our Suburban furnaces have outside access.

Take off the intake grill if you can't get to the furnace by removing a drawer.

I just looked at the Tiffin Model archive and it seems the OP has the same furnace as I do.
That said; you should be able to access it from the outside.
