Yeah. I especially like the 4 TV remotes. Now when Dave falls asleep watching the TV, I have my own remote to change the channel.

Inventory of gear that should be with 34PA is a good idea!
50 amp service cable, owners manual packet, countertop inserts, 4 chairs for workstation? Anything else?
How many remotes should there be with fireplace and 3 TVs. Ceiling fan remote?
If everything is there, our gasser had the following “stuff”....

The big blue Tiffin file bag with all the manuals; we refer to it as the most expensive Coach bag my wife has ever gotten . It is a bit overwhelming, but should contain the manuals for all the parts and pieces of the coach. The Tiffin manual itself can be a bit vague at times, but spend time reading it throughly.

Remotes:
One for each TV, which usually can be used interchangeably. Some have issues with them affecting a TV they are not pointing to, but we’ve never had that problem.

If you have a Sat. system, a remote for it.

We have one for the directional OTA antenna, not sure if that is the same on an ‘18.

One for the rear view camera, we’ve never used it.

We bought a remote for the in dash radio / nav., it’s not “standard”, and also have a remote for the Dyson fan we carry .

The bedroom fan in ours does not have a remote, the switch is beside the bed.

The 50amp power cord is permanently attached to the transfer switch in the wet bay. Strongly suggest you get something like a Progressive EMS for “real” electrical protection; we have the portable that you plug into the pedestal the. The power cord into it. Easy to use, and catches most any electrical issue including low voltage which can cause damage to things like your ACs, and bad grounds, both of which are more common than surges.

You should have covers for the stove and kitchen sink, and as you noted 4 chairs for the dinette if appropriate. Not sure about a folding “coffee table”, we have one.

All the bedding and (too many) pillows .

Bay door keys, door keys for the deadbolt and “regular” lock, a small key for the outside TV door and one that works on the gravity water fill door and outside plumbing access door for the shower (if appropriate on your coach).

That’s all I can think of at the moment......

Regards

one added thought...
ask dealer if the prior owner would be willing to talk to you about the coach..
some would..
some don't want to..

that would be a huge source of info... if the prior owner would be willing to talk to you about history of coach.

No doubt.

Not sure if it was a trade in or what. Carfax says the coach was originally titled in Murrieta, California. If so, then nearly all the total miles listed are from transporting from Red Bay to CA and then from CA to this dealership. Hmm.

Update:

We made our trip to Memphis to look at the 2018 34PA we had on hold.

We were allowed all the time we wanted to checkout the RV and spent several hours with the tech going over all systems before purchasing. Our salesman, Mike Hook, never interfered or hurried us in any way.

We had a check list and inventory list with us and were able to verify every item to our satisfaction on that list. I had read the Tiffin manual and most of the vendor manuals prior to our trip and that was a great help in going over the operation of systems and equipment.

Once we took delivery, we stayed 3 days at nearby EZ Daze RV park. When operator error caused no hot water they offered to have tech come by to check out. (we left safety switch OFF during inspection)

Over all, we had a very good experience during the entire buying process. All the staff we met were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Kudos to Davis Motor Mart. Best of all we got a sweet deal (imo) on a like new coach.

They are 2 hours from Red Bay, so we had to swing by for a tour and a few goodies at the Tiffin Store and Allegro Club store.

6 states latter we were back home in NC and admittedly happy campers.

Thank You!! all for your tips and advice!
