Some of the solenoid are not able to be opened for cleaning. Push down on the brass ring to release the tubing, pull straight out. Give the tubing holes a shot of silicone spay and shake good. Apply 12 volts and listen for a click.

Airhorn troubleshooting

I disassembled the solenoid and it looked like new inside. I was also able to turn the petcock valve on top of the air tank next to the cylinder and the airhorns operated. I think the next item to replace is the solenoid. It gets voltage yet I do not feel it actuating.

All is good now after a little more troubleshooting. I installed the new solenoid and it still didn't operate. I found that the inlet hose and the outgoing hose to the horns were swapped. After swapping them, all is good with my horns but the neighbors are a little annoyed. Well, I have a spare solenoid now. Something simple again was the problem. Thanks again for all your assistance on this.
