Yes. The clear coat on the top of our front cap peeled. We went to Red Bay had had it repainted for $700 by McKinney RV Body Shop. McKinney was recommended by Tiffin because their own body shop was booked up for several weeks.

The roof rails also peeled about a year later. I repainted those myself because they weren't as visible as the front cap. I sanded almost all the clear coat off, primed, painted and clear coated.

The paint used by Tiffin is catalyzed urethane. The paint is mixed with a hardener, and once you mix it, you have to use it or throw it away. It dries very quickly, especially if you're working outside on a sunny day. The paint is hard to work with. It's difficult to get a nice, shiny clear coat with no runs. Wind is also a major problem working outside.

Unless you have experience with body work and have a good compressor and HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray gun, do yourself a favor and find an RV body shop with a space big enough to pull the rig inside. The paint codes should be on the door frame or on a sheet inside a cabinet somewhere in the rig. If you can't find the codes, call Tiffin to get them. Have your chassis VIN handy when you call.
