the batterys are under the slide out, so how do you put the slide out when the batterys are dead?

My slides will not go out if the batteries are dead unless I have the generator running or plugged into shore power. Then make sure the battery charger is running.

There is a momentary switch on the dash that will "boost" or connect vehicle battery to coach's. On some models running the engine will allow alternator output to boost the batteries.

Assuming your 37DB has the same Power Gear slide mechanism ours does, there is a rubber boot on one end of the motor that covers a lever. The motor is under a cover under the bed. The lever is used to disengage the gears so the slide can be operated manually. It is possible the lever is only partially engaged. It's also possible the gears are damaged.
