Allegro bus 37AP/40SP.
DW and I are down to three and we would like (if you have time) one pro and one con on the Allegro Bus.
Thanks for your input and time,
Doug and Renee.

Pro: quality fit and finish.
Con: you're probably going to spend some time finding out how good Tiffins customer service really is.

We have decided we do not like the opposing TV's and will be dropping the 37AP from our list. Looking at just the 40SP for now,,,,,although DW is now thinking maybe over 40 would not be bad. Not sure I can get to all of the places we want to see though.

I do not know of what you speak. Opposing TV's? Where?
We ordered a 37AP and deleted the above the windshield TV. No regrets with that decision. We have 3 TV's. one in the FR, one in the BR and one outside. Seems like plenty. The front TV would be viewable while the slides were in.
BTW - the 37AP is very nimble for it's size and has a tight turn radius, rides great, good power. No complaints.

We love the bathroom and the floor plan, wife and I are used to love chair with recliners when watching tv. Does the 37 AP give you that comfort,,,,,,,,,?

Bus Pro/Con
I have no problem with the 40ft length after 5000+ miles. In tight places park it then take the towed vehicle.
Pro: The best benefit are the cabinets and other storage. I have not found better for the price.
Con: The newer models are less usable when the slides are in travel position if that is important to you. Recently toured the factory and was surprised at the tightness of the inside with the slides pulled in. If you have time, a trip to the factory in Red Bay Al. is well worth the trip. You get to walk inside with slides in and out as well as see the quality of the construction.

We were thinking of upgrading to the 40SP from our 36LA, but were quite surprised at how tight it was when the slides were in. That is an issue when you are traveling with 2 German Shepherds. We have quite a bit more maneuverability in our present coach. We are still thinking about it. The 40SP really is a beautiful machine and very roomy when the slides are out.

We just toured the Tiffin plant and much to our surprise, there was an Allegro Bus 40AP just off the assembly line. The brochure only shows one 40 footer, the 40SP, for 2015, but they have already started producing the 40AP, which will be in their brochure for 2016. The 40AP has essentially the same floor plan as the 37AP, but with the full closet added to the rear, similar to the Phaeton 40AH.
We found it quite appealing.

We went and looked at the 37AP today and was realy impressed with it.
The only question I realy have is why does it have a rear view mirror on the inside?

You can order the coach without this worthless option unless your like me. I removed my mirror after delivery and now am trying to figure out what to use in order to cover the screw holes.
