Allegro Bus 45 ???

So we have been looking at coaches. This will be our first RV but we did rent a 41 diesel pusher a few years ago & enjoyed 2 weeks in it. Now we are ready to retire & travel more. But I should note that we will not be full timers.

We like the Phaeton 42 but then we saw & drove a new 45 Allegro Bus. That was costly mistake (lol). So I think we are locking in on ordering a new 2015 45 Bus.

We are going to the Hershey PA RV Show hoping to see a few more options before we order anything.

Hoping to get some feedback from Allegro Bus owners.

BTW: you 45 Bus owners are not all full timers are you????

Part time, full time, some time, or overtime; that is a nice coach!

We ARE full-timers and our 45LP works out great. It's roomy with oodles of interior and exterior storage.

We bought a 40', 2003 Allegro Bus last year and we are very happy with it. We have found some places, mostly some state parks, that can't take a 45'. We are not full timers and others may have different feelings about the length.

Love Ours!

We love our 45LP. We do full time however. Here's a different view of it in case you're curious. My husband had fun making a time lapse video of our entire coach build. You can read about it and watch every day's build in our blog postings or you can watch the entire experience in 11 minutes! Tiffin Allegro Bus 45LP Final Build Videos & Thoughts | Outside Our Bubble

Thanks Brenda
I have been talking with David both by phone & email.
Also been talking to Danny Davis. He actually just got us the price on the "Bott" sofa from Tiffin today. They are offering the Bott sofa with either the 2 ottomans or pop out leg rest. Not sure why anyone would get the leg rest.

Glad to hear that you've been talking with David. He talks to quite a few people now a days about the 45LP as we are fans.

Not sure why anyone would get the leg rest either. It is pretty useless. The ottomans are wonderful. A great height and they open up for storage! Would definitely do the ottomans again in a heart beat.

We live in our 45LP for 3 months of the year and we found works very well for us and I think one of the best driving coaches I have ever driven.
The only thing we did not like was the L shaped couch, so we made a deal to have the one they use in the Zephyr. The one that comes in the 45LP is not comfortable to sit on and the short side is too narrow and you can feel the bar under the cushion.
But after the switch we really like it and much more comfortable.

Thanks all...
We'll be at the Hershey Show next week before we place the order. Thinking we may have the order held at Tiffin as we live in the northeast & our thinking is to take delivery after the winter. Timing will work better for us this way.

We know the options we want & interior colors. Looking at possibly the Gold Coral for the outside but also thinking about custom color selection also.
