Allegro Bus Shower Drain

The shower drain on our 2003 Allegro Bus started leaking. Found a replacement at Lowe's. Barely managed to get channelocks on the screw ring under the tub while the old drain was unscrewed from above. Installed the new drain but the access is so small that I can't get the fastening ring under the tub tightened enough to keep it from leaking. Any suggestions?

Been there - done that. You may need a "close quarters" trap. Lowes or HD may not carry them.

Tiffin now uses a waterless trap, they are installed on the breeze, small elbow with a tube about 11/2" about 8" long this works great and takes up little room, may have to have an adapter to connect which is a rubber sleeve.

Hmm, is this a Tiffin design or an OEM product?

Thats it, nice device I was a little concerned with it at first but it is a nice deal, no trap with water to worry about.
