Allegro front cap removal

Front cap advise please.I'm replacing the rubber roof on our 28" coach and it's been reasonably easy project so far with one exception.I'm not sure how the proper way of finishing the front cap area. It seems like the whole front of the coach is one piece and that needs to be removed in order to tuck the new wood and rubber membrane under. Any info is appreciated and I'll post photos of what I'm looking at.
Thanks J

Use a pry bar to lift slightly. Stop new wood about 1/4 in short of cap tuck only rubber under cap. It will work fine.
You need to place tape over each seam in your wood and along edge. Gorrilla tape is a good tape. Fleece tape is best.

Perfect timing to receive your reply as I'm going to finish the roof today. There doesn't seem to be any give in the cap right over the aluminum side rails to pry and get the old rubber out but I'll pry around and get it done.
Thanks for the tip.
