Allegro Red 2015 Door Jammed Closed

Our new 2015 has a problem with the front door. Extra effort was required to close the door enough to latch the deadbolt and over a few days it was too difficult to unlock so we stopped using it. The door continued to be difficult to close and tonight I had to pull it hard to latch the lock. The next time I tried to open the door it would not budge. We were locked inside and not happy!

Both locks were disengaged but the door would not open. Called CoachNet and they dispatched a locksmith who was able to use his "Pump Wedge" tool to force the door and jamb to separate enough to open the door. The tool is a thin inflatable diaphragm with a bulb hand pump attached and when placed between jamb and door was able to move the door enough to free the lock and allow the door to open. Pump Wedge is an Auto Entry Tool from Pro-Lok, Part# A065. It's available online for $31.50. I will have the door serviced as part of my new coach punch list.

We have a new '14 and I noticed that my door was a bit difficult to close and lock when we retired for the evening. Upon further checking I discovered that the striker bolt had come loose so I tightened it and that solved my problem. I check it frequently now.

We also got locked in with our new 2014. We had stopped using the deadbolt. These really do need to be recalled.

I wonder if the wire is loose that runs to the box that switches from antenna to satelitte tv, in the cabinet that's next to the door and passenger seat? At least that's where ours is. At least that is my first thought.
