Allergo Bus Fridge

Fridge in Allergo works good on propane and on AC if plugged into 110V. If I plug into 220 box at a campground the panel on fridge tells me the AC is too Hi to work, Any ideas of why that would be??

First the 50 amp service is two 110v legs. Your coach is wired for 110 not 220. If you are plugged into the 50 amp service at the pedestal then there may be serious pedestal problems that can burn up appliances etc. Do you have a Surge Guard or similar protection? Use a multimeter to check the pedestal if you don't.

A problem somewhere. A standard 50 AMP RV pedestal is wired with 2 120 volt hot legs out of phase so if you measure across the 2 hot legs then you see 240 VAC. Most 50 AMP RVs use this as two 120 VAC legs and so 240 VAC though available inside the coach is not used. Any standard appliance inside your motorhome and plugged into an outlet should only see 120 VAC power.

There is possibility that the power at the pedestal is out of spec. Generally speaking if the VAC is higher than about 132 volts then damage to appliances may occur.
