Annual Maintence V10 Ford

Just had my Annual Maintance done for $123.00 on the MH. Mobile 1 oil, oil filter, lube, check tires, etc. I'm glad I'm cheap. Dave

When we had our F53 chassis MH, I did the maintenance myself....saved a lot of $$ and knew what had been done....
If you decide to do your own, get a Fumoto valve for the oil pan, keeps the oil off the straight axle...

+1

Mobil 1 on sale at Costco, bulk filters on-line, and a clean grease gun in its own plastic container. That plus a piece of cardboard for when the oil filter drips and I'm all set.

I understand if you don't have the space, tools, or time. I'm blessed and have all three.

Doing my own maintenance is a good idea, but not for me. I do enjoy watching the mechanics at a garage in the small town I live near. Dave

I'm lucky, my local Ford dealer does frequent oil change specials for all gas fords, $29.99. I figured they would balk at a motorhome but they said that as long as it's a gas engine they will do it. They will even do full synthetic for $59.99 with their coupon. I still do it myself if it's sitting in my drive but I usually try to have a reason to drive it around oil change time.

Sure is a lot cheaper than a DP. 2 years and 2 $30 oil changes.
