Anyone ever insulated their nose cone?

I have a 35 QBA that gets extremely hot in the summer time. Has anyone ever insulated the fiberglass nose cone area behind the front tv? If so, what did you use and how hard was it to do?

Also, I remember reading this past summer about someone blocking one or two of the A/C vents to focus more air to the front of the MH. If anyone remembers that thread or has any suggestion please let me know.

Thanks

Did my fathers...
Pulled the TV a little spray glue and standard batt insulation.

Do a search on front cap insulation over at A Part of the TiffinRVNetwork • Index page . There's been quite a discussion on it with several different methods or solutions.

Remember that the furnace AND air con have flow requirements. The factory will specify the sq. in. of vent area. Shutting vents off can seriously reduce the efficiency of either unit and can cause problems like burning motors up due to too much air resistance.

Insulate behind the TV

When I changed my TV out with a flat screen, I installed pink bat all along the front and in behind towards the compartments I placed the silver bubble insulation for a cleaner look.

It does make a difference with the sun on the cab.

NALSO.

I pulled the tv yesterday and installed the silver bubble wrap against the glass(window) and then installed R-13 insulation with an additional layer of the bubble wrap between the insulation and the back of the tv. I'm hopeful that it will help, I'm going to test it out this weekend.

I used 2 part spray foam ordered off the net. Easy to spray on gets into all of the small places
