Wondering if any of you own one? Like it? I have considered this unit and the 42 foot version. 42 footer is 2 feet longer but has less under coach storage. Where does the 40 footer cut to make a bath and half fit?

I'd consider the 42'. We have a 40' bus, but because Tiffin loads their rigs with so many goodies, they tend to be at the maximum on wheel and axle loadings. We were stuck with the 40' because of the barn we store it in. The tag makes a big difference on loading. Other than that, you can't go wrong with a Tiffin.

If you go with the Tiffin chassis, the rear is rate at 22,000 pounds in place of the 20,000 most have. Increase in front too. This could make a good difference.

It's a good coach but I'd go with the 42'. I just did a road test and review on one for RV MAgazine's upcoming issue (out 12/20). In orderto make thingsfit there were afew compromises made. The rear bath vanity is ell shaped and in the corner. I didn't find that the most useful allocation of space. I think you'll find the bathroom in the 42QBH to be much more user firiendly. The rear wardrobe is also much wider on the 42QBH. Plus, the tag axle makes for a much better (and more stable) drive.

Mark: I just bought the Fall edition at the newstand the other night and really enjoyed reading ALL your articles therein. I'm looking into one of those rinse water systems, but can only dream about the Anthem you reviewed. FWIW, I appreciate your factual style without too much hype.
I'll look for the December issue after Christmas.

Thanks for the kind words, Ed. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I try to keep it as full of usefull information as much as possible but still keep it "unboring". .

We bought a new 38' Georgetown gas, and took it from PA to KY. on the way home we stopped and traded it on for our New 2010 Phaeton 42'QBH. Was the best thing we ever did. No comparison. My husband loves having the tag, because it handles so much better. We were worried about being able to get into campsites, but have never had a problem.
