Anyone relocate Allegro Bus air dryer?

While watching our build, I noticed the air dryer is mounted on the outside of the left frame rail, just aft of the rear axle. I know this is a serviceable item, yet there is a storage compartment that blocks access from the left side of the coach. Access to this item is severely limited.

Has anyone thought about relocating this item? I would think by adding some extension air hoses it couple be located back to the engine area to make it easier to access.

Any thoughts?

Here's pic of air dryer on 45opp, mounted behind and inside of tag, but not on frame rail. I'll look at the placement on 40ip this week at Red Bay. Not sure where it would fit elsewhere, given the side radiator space requirements. Within the engine compartment might be a heat issue??

Before moving the air dryer, check the installation instructions.
Here is a section of one brand.Click image for larger version

Best to remove air dryer unit from coach to replace filter element. One mounting bolt, two air lines and an electrical connection. Easier to blow off dirt before opening.

I drop mine down from under the coach. Once every 3 years is no big deal, it's not hard to get to. To me, wouldn't make any sense to move it....

Moving it might void your warranty as well
