Aqua Hot and Bay Heat

Must you have the Aqua Hot, electric or diesel burner on to have the bay heat working??

I know on the Allegro Bus the rear Aqua Hot zone not only heats the bedroom but also heats the wet bay area.

Yes, you must have the AquaHot on, either on electric or diesel, for it to produce any heat. You do not need to have the bedroom heat on, however, to heat the wet bay. The wet bay has its own thermostat and heat coil. You have three zones + hot water.

Model yes - Allegro Bus has AquaHot as standard, and some of the newer Phaetons have it as an option. But AquaHot has a special zone and thermostat for the wet bay. The Phaeton and all the other models with the propane heater(s) rely on the gas furnace for wet bay heat. If you have two furnaces, the rear furnace heats the wet bay.

This arrangement goes back years.
