What Orman is referring to is a fuel supply problem to the Aqua-Hot.
We have noticed that on
some Tiffin coaches there is a problem with the fuel supply to / from the fuel tank.
We notice it first, after changing the fuel filter. It takes a VERY long time for the fuel filter to fill. In some instances I have had to remove the return fuel return line to the fuel tank inside the Aqua-Hot to get the system to fill and pressurize.
Even after the unit finally primes, the Aqua-Hot will run very roughly like it is starving for fuel. Sometimes after running for 5 or 10 minutes the unit will smooth out and run OK.
I have run the Aqua-Hot off a external fuel supply and the unit will run flawlessly. As soon as I reconnect the the coach fuel supply the Webasto will run roughly. It appears to me that the problem is in the fuel return line to the fuel tank. When I use the coach fuel supply and run the return line into my external supply, the Webasto runs normally.
The Aqua-Hot fuel lines connect to the top of the fuel tank. The only way to access them to inspect them is to remove the fuel tank. We do not have the ability to perform those checks.
If you have noticed this problem on your coach, please post your coach model and year and any information that you may have.
