A little more info. Are they the electric or hydraulic jacks? On what rv?

While I haven't had the pleasure, I've read several posts on message boards and Tiffin-specific facebook groups where people have rebuilt the gearboxes. The problem is that, as I understand it, parts are not available. Based on my reading, a common failure point appears to be a broken shear pin in the gearbox. Some reportedly have successfully contrived substitutes for the near impossible to find shear pin. Do some searches and googles. You should find some examples of people who have done this.

Yes I have but I was able to find parts online. Mine was a few years ago when parts were not as scarce as they are now.

Its not a complicated gearbox if you can find the parts.
