Like the hundreds of others that have problems with these, might as well call Atwood, explain the syptoms and they'll probably suggest what you need to do to correct... They have a lot of experience replacing those.
My bus is at the dealer waiting for the whole jack replacement unit to arrive from Tiffin... ( apparently would have taken 2-3 weeks to get the replacement from Atwood..)
I believe this is the second or possibly the third problem (previous owner had problms fixed back in 2009) this bus has had with it's jacks.... now getting one new style to put on which is supposedly compatable with the "older" original style.....

Hi dirtdog, welcome to the forum and the Tiffin's Owner's section. I have the Atwood Manual in PDF. Drop me a PM with your email and I'll send you a copy.

Thanks to all you for your help. I have down loaded the manual and also called Atwood. Looks like I am going to Red Bay to get the jacks fixed.

Dirtdog, where are you located? I certainly would not hesitate heading to RB but depending on the distance it may not be necessary. There are many authorized repair centers around. Also a call to Sue Noyes at Atwood has helped many, including myself. Call her at 574-266-4703 or email at s.noyes@atwoodmobile.com She knows the product very well and is usually able to walk you through trouble shooting steps.
Note: If you end up with a busted jack there is a representative from a machine shop on TRVN.com looking for a broken jack that they can reverse engineer for replacment parts. Many are anxious for him to receive one.

My MH was just completed today with a replacement jack assembly that Tiffin was good enough to send us because Atwood didn't have any and it would take 2-3 weeks to get....I just today arranged to get the complete jack assembly that was replaced on my MH so it's being sent to the engineering company that wants to look at it......
They are setting it up to be dhipped to them....
Hopefully they can find / correct / develop a reasonable solution to the problem so many of us have had...
This forum works well !!

Picked up my MH this AM from repair / dealer - Campers Inn in Fruitwood Park FL near Lady Lake - So. of Ocala....
They tell me that they tested it thoroughly, all works great .. as I have it now in storage site nearby while I finnish our stay in The Villages and cruise, I won't know for sure until early March when we head out.....and use it a few times as we travel up the east coast ....
Based on the service and personalities, I would recommend this service facility.....
Staying at Santo's State Park 3/4, 3/5 and then headed to Savannah...
Old jack assembly being sent to the engineering company for their analysis.
