I am looking at purchasing a new phaeton, can anyone tell me if they have traction control or posi traction available. I visit the sand dunes and my old Dutch star would get stuck real easy. My Monaco has ATC and it never gets stuck. Thanks

I believe that most DPs have ATC if they have ABS. ATC is not posi-traction or limited slip. Eaton ATC uses the ABS sensors in the wheels to monitor rear wheel rotation and if one turns at a different speed than the other is throttles back the motor rpm to reduce spin. About the only thing it does for you is to stop you accelarating hard on a wet or slippery surface. You sure can still get stuck in mud or sand or snow. I have never heard of a DP with posi-traction.

I have ATC now in a Monaco, it does a great job of keeping you from spinning a wheel a getting stuck in soft sand, believe me I have had 2 dp,s without it anid they both got stuck in the same camping area in the sand dunes. So can you tell me if the phatons have ABS and therefor ATC ?

I believe it has to be the Eaton ABS to also get the Eaton ATC. I just called the Tiffin factory and asked them and they had no idea what I was talking about. My guess is that the Phaeton does not have it. They are going to call me back.
