Backup camera

My older allegro does not have a backup camera. I was wondering if any of you have used those wireless units and if so are they any good and which ones would you recommend?

Thanks

I've been using an older version of this wireless camera/monitor for 6-7 years, (50k + miles): PEAK | Back-up Camera - 7 | Electronics | Auto Products

We had a 1995 34ft Allegro Bay and was gifted a Peak backup camera (less than $100) It only worked in the driveway with the slide out. On the road with the slide in the signal was blocked. We didn't want to drill anymore holes and run wire to fix the problem we just upgraded RVs.

Avoid headaches and problems in the future by going with a hard wire camera.

My wireless rear view camera works very well. I bought from rearviewsafety .com. Great to work with and very price competitive. I replaced a wired system.

Well too damn much work trying to figure this out and then the effort to run all the wires. The hell with it i just drive with the back shade up and can see enough along with the curved sideview mirros

Well, it isn't that much difficult or complex to run the wires and install it. When I got the rv backup camera, then I just looked for the installation process at youtube and it all went smoothly and it is working in perfect condition.

Pulling the wires is not that difficult. Tip: when you do it, pull two or three wire sets together so that you can add additional cameras with different views "down the road." /ken
