I have a basement storage door lock on our 2012 Allegro that will not turn to unlock. Any suggestions to help fix would be appreciated.

While trying to turn the key to the unlock position, bump the door with your body weight near the door lock. This may relieve enough pressure on the lock to allow it to turn if that is the problem.

I've used either liquid or powdered graphite in the past to free up stubborn locks. This is especially a problem for outdoor locks. The graphite should free it up.

Mike,
Thanks for the tip on the graphite. Sprayed it into the lock and had it open in a couple of minutes. Once it was open I took the lock apart and used it on the mechanism. Locks and opens like it was new. I appreciate the help.
