Do you have an inverter with a remote panel?
Mine was directly connected to the house batteries and I had about 1amp of constant drain.
I recommend a "Total Disconnect switch" directly on the positive battery cable so NOTHING can drain your batteries while in storage.

Regards,

Dan

If you keep it plugged into shore power while in storage, then no, you don't need one.

If you get solar panels installed, then no you don't need one.

As a test, monitor the battery voltage with a digital voltmeter every day the coach is sitting unused, and not connected to power. When the voltage reads below 12.1 volts you will know how many days it will go before a recharge is needed.

battery

This chart should help. Always recharge before batteries get below 50% state of charge for best life from the batteries.

On the Open Roads, if you turn off your 12v switch at the door and your inverter, you have essentially reduced your drain to zero. It gets a bit more complicated in Reds, Phaetons, and Buses which have battery disconnects already installed. You have to shut off a few more things or, as Dan has done, add an addtional shut off switch that allows you to completely cut the batteries off.
