Bedroom Slideout Problem
I have a 2005 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 30DA. The bedroom slide is on the passengers side. The slide is to close to the rear of the motorhome and the bottom rear corner is lower than the front corner of the slide , the rear lower corner fits so tight it has the lower seal and the side wiper ripped, the whole slide box needs to go forward in the coach cut out approximately one quarter of an inch and the rear corner of the slide box needs to be raised approximately three sixteens of an inch to take the pressure off of the seals. I called Tiffin they said the outer rollers are not adjustable , the outer roller are mounted to the floor of the RV and I can't get at them to shim the back one up, also in order to move the box one quarter of an inch forward I would have to take the lag screws out of the Power Gear mechanism move the slide box ahead and reinstall the lag screws. All this has created a leak at the lower rear corner. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
