Bedroom speakers on Zephyr????

There are 2 speakers over the bed on my Zephyr. For the life of me I cannot make them work. How are they controlled? Where from? I have tried everything on the TV for it's outputs but to no avail. I have an HDMI connection cable and a component cable in one of the cabinets for either a DVD or additional Sat box. But I see no audio control for it.

The ones on my Bus are only connected to the dash radio. Ours were excessively loud, so I put a small toggle switch next to each to allow them to be shut off if you're trying to rest while the radio is on up front.

Same on our Open Road, they're only connected to the Radio. You use the 'fader' control, just like in your car, to balance between the front and rear speakers, or send everything to one set. It'd be nice if there was a 'remote' control in the bedroom area to change volume and stations, just like our boat. The radio can be controlled from a small remote panel on the swim platform.

Our 2010 Allegro RED has the optional surround sound system and the radio part of the surround sound feeds the bedroom speakers.
We have not tried playing a DVD yet.

Jay,
The rear speakers in our Open Road are like you said, controlled by the fader switch on the dash radio. In addition, our unit does have a small hand held remote control that you can use from the bedroom to change stations, volume etc on the radio. It is "line of sight" with the radio however, and I find it very hard to operate because of its small size, and small print on the remote. The radio came standard in our 2004 year model Allegro.

Thanks, it was the radio from the front.

you can but a fader switch for the volume and install it in the rear compartment by the speakers and then you can control them from it. the compartment is hoollow and when you remove the speakers you will see the space to run the wires and mount the switch.
