black water flush system
I have a 2011 allegro open road.
We have the black water flush system on this rig. I cannot get water to flow into the black water tank using this system.
Any ideas?

Could the flusher be plugged up with goo??
Might have to take the flusher out and drill holes a little bigger 3/32nd.

As it is new, I would take it to the dealer and have them fix it. You may have more opportunities to fix things as your coach gets older!

I can't speak for the Allegro for sure but on my Endeavor I have been having exactly the same problem. Yesterday I removed the flush system from the black tank (three screws and a water line mounted on the top of the black tank). The inside of the flush wand was full of what looked to be pulp from toilet paper and all the small spray holes were plugged. I cleaned out the pulp and drilled out the spray holes to 7/64 and re installed using clear silicone to seal the unit to the tank. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. I can't tell you where your unit would be but mine was accessible through what everyone calls the hidden door in the side of the motorhome which opens by removing two screws rather than using a latch.

I had same problem on my Zephyr. There was a check valve that was put in backwards. Have them check that. I now flush every time I dump. DUring the flush I will close the valve and let it fill up a bit (bout 3-5 minutes) then open up again till I get a clear flow, then close the valve again for about 30 seconds. This will put some water in the tank for me to pour in the blue stuff without having to dump water in from the fresh tank. hope this helps.

Welcome to the IRV.
This seems to be fairly common for Tiffin coaches. Check out the Tiffin RV Network and you will find information on how to correct it yourself if you want to but since it is new I would let the dealer take care of it under warranty.

If you can easily access the flush sprayer, just remove it and clean it. Then drill the holes out to 3/32, and all is good. If not easy to get to let the dealer handle it. Could be a kinked hose too. If you need to flush it out now, stick a hose down through a toilet and let it rip.

I just went through this problem. My tank mounted spray device on top of the black tank is extremely hard to reach so I did not want to go through that except as a last resort. I removed the gravity outlet hose from the back flow valve that goes to the black tank spray device. I rigged up a temporary tank near the backflow valve and connected the upper end of that hose to it. I poured in about a pint of digester that is used on black tank interior cleaning, topped off my temporary tank with water and allowed it to sit for a week. It took a few days for the tank level to go down slowly, but soon all of the fluid drained into the tank through the once plugged spray device. I reconnected everything and now can flush as if new.
