You can’t get further back or closer up and remain comfortable. We don’t do anything to secure the chairs when under way and we have NEVER had to “chase chairs”. That problem does not exist. The booth would be a deal killer for me.

Agreed. A booth would most likely be a deal killer for us too. We really don't even like a booth in a restaurant. We have on occasion, pulled the table out and set it lengthwise in the middle of the coach and seated 6 for dinner. No big deal to store the folding chairs in the closet. And, we don't tie chairs down and we've never had to chase them either. They have always stayed put. Just not an issue. It would probably be different if the chairs were on a hard surface instead of carpet.

The table is held in the short position by friction. All you have to do to extend it is to give it a good tug to get past the friction stop. To store, just push past the same friction until it feels solidly in place.

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

Congrats on the new coach, safe travels . . .

Just curiosity, on the 45OPP with a booth option and the slides are in (driving position), is there any issue walking around the booth. I figured the booth stick out further than the dinette.

we have always had a booth dinette. The storage under the bench seats is essential to us. Im 6ft tall and have no problem being comfortable. Again its the storage thing for us.
